Crunchy blanched peanuts encased in mouthwatering brittle toffee. All handmade by us in store!
To make our peanut brittle, we cook sugar, glucose syrup, butter and sodium bicarbonate to a very high temperature; at the last minute the peanuts and a dash of vanilla are thrown in and it is poured on to the buttered and floured marble slab, where it is stretched to thin it out before it hardens into pieces of classic peanut brittle. We then smash it up into shards and bag it in a cellophane bag and tie it with a colourful ribbon and tag. All made by hand, no additives: what you see is what you get!
